What's the difference between an agent and a broker?
The short answer
An agent is licensed to represent clients and must work under a broker; a broker holds a higher license and can run a brokerage. 'Realtor' is a National Association of Realtors membership, not a skill level. None of the titles predicts quality — recent closed transactions in your area and price range do.
