Privacy Policy

The short version

Lotum AI is a free informational resource. You can use every expert, tool, guide, and glossary entry without creating an account or giving us your name, email, or phone number. We do not sell your data, and we never pass your questions to salespeople. The single exception is one you control: if you explicitly ask us to introduce you to a vetted professional, we share only what you submitted in that request — and nothing else, with no one else.

What we collect

Usage information: like most websites, we collect standard technical information (browser type, pages visited, approximate region) to understand how the site is used and to keep it working well.

Conversations with experts: questions you ask the AI experts are processed to generate answers and to improve answer quality. Don't include sensitive personal details — the experts don't need your Social Security number to explain escrow.

Calculator inputs: the numbers you enter into our tools are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. Checklist progress is stored only on your own device.

Voluntary contact: if you use the contact, notify-me, or connect-me forms, we receive what you submit and use it only to respond, notify, or make the introduction you asked for.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

We don't share your questions or details with real estate agents, lenders, insurers, or any other salespeople — unless you explicitly request an introduction, in which case we share only that request with the professional you asked for.

We don't require accounts, and we don't build advertising profiles of you.

Third-party services

We use reputable infrastructure providers to host the site and power the AI experts. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. Chat conversations are processed by our AI provider to generate responses.

Your choices and requests

You can use the entire site without providing personal information. For any privacy question or request — including deletion of anything you've submitted through our forms — email us at hello@lotum.ai and we'll help.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its date. Material changes will be flagged clearly on the site.
